(A distraction is anything that takes your attention away from your studying)&lt;br /&gt;Set goals for how much you want to accomplish during each study session.&lt;br /&gt;When you start an assignment, tell yourself what you already know about the subject, then ask yourself what you are trying to learn about the subject.&lt;br /&gt;Take notes on the main ideas&lt;br /&gt;Try to study for 25 -  45 minutes at a time.
